Hi,
I am new to the 855 world. I have an owners manual on order (for about 3 weeks now) at my local dealer and it still hasn't come in. I wanted to know if someone could tell me how to remove the grill from the front of the tractor. I want to check the air filter and I can't figure out how to get to it. If it's like the rest of the tractor, it probably needs to be serviced. I am thinking the previous owner didn't do anything with it since he said he had it for only 6 months and never changed the oil.

Mine vibrates itself off, but just grab it on either side and pull it off. -RP ....

Had the same problem when I got mine....Keep the flip top hood down, and grab the sides of the front grill. pull toward you and up and it lifts of small 'studs' that hold it on. It comes off real easily AFTER the first time. I was afraid I would break something by pulling too hard the first time I did it, but it is made a bit better than that and it wont break that easily. ....
